Overheating Vs. Boil Dry

What is the difference between overheating and boil dry?

While different, overheating or boiling dry of a pan can damage the cookware and void the warranty on the product.

* Overheating happens when a pan is heated beyond the recommended temperature for that particular type of product.
* Boiling Dry happens when a pan is left unattended on a heat source, allowing liquid to boil completely dry out of the pan.
